The womyn over at Hard L are celebrating their gallery slash event space's first ever Pride with a special show - QUEERVOYANT: a queer art showcase about the future. More than a dozen queer artists were asked to share their artistic vision of the future.
According to Hard L, their concept "as a whole is to give underrepresented artists, women and queers especially, an ongoing space to exhibit their work, meet other artists, and to gain empowerment and inspiration." It's a funky, fabulous space, full of vintage industrial charm, housed in the Pound Gallery Studios at 10th and Union.
The artists included in the show are: Sarai Black, William Brattain, Debbie Faas, Jason Gertsen, Finch Izatt, Lauren LaMotte, Johnny McCaffery, Janet Necham-Miller, Lisa Orth, Clyde Petersen, Taylor Pinton, MKNZ Porritt, Leigh Riibe, Kiki Robinson, Timothy Rysdyke, ilvs strauss, and Joey Veltkamp.
QUEERVOYANT starts tomorrow evening, with an opening reception at 6pm, and runs through Sunday at 5pm..
